This travel bubble is so going to burst with all the bookings I have made! šŸ¤£

But in case it holds, I am heading to Boulcott St Bistro in Wellington for dinner. I have eaten here before and it is fabulous. They have a great wine list, too.

Of course all things travel related can disappear at a moments notice, so you have been warned.

Care to chance it?

Boulcott Bistro don't take dinner bookings after 6pm. So I suggest we meet at 6 for a drink somewhere than head to the bistro for dinner.

@Kiwi_Flyer do you have anywhere you would suggest? I am staying at the Rydges near the train station, and I think @Mattg is nearby.

I have a Chocstock ticket for NZD26.74 (non refundable I think, but a small amount to lose), and a refundable accommodation booking. Both the tickets and decent accommodation seem to be on their way towards selling out.

Now to book refundable flights! And to see if there is any insurance available for the possibility of having to pay for hotel quarantine at some point šŸ˜œ

@Kiwi_Flyer and @Mattg, I think I have managed to resurrect my trip to NZ. Via ABX!

So will you be ok if dinner is put off to either the 9th or 10th? I hope to be in town for two nights (fingers crossed).

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I think I'll be in town all week, and hopefully over my cold (I already have a negative covid test result).

Sorry to hijack, but this looks like a good place to ask - are there other good restaurants within walking distance of Wellington IC?

I've got BStB on the radar, and I know there are some places down by the water but some of them were underwhelming last time I was in WLG, so I'm keen to know where else might be recommended.

I like Charley Noble and Shed 5. The IC restaurant is not bad either.

I have moved my reservation at the Rydges, so happy to meet there at about 6ish. We can then head to the restaurant or grab a drink on the way. @Kiwi_Flyer, I will PM you my phone number.
