No show on the second leg of a return trip? (ie cheap one way?)

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been covered before......

UA fly SIN-HKG with a 747 ( and return).

return fare is $380 versus $1750 for one way.

Fare conditions only talk about change fee of $HK 600, but nothing regarding no shows??

Can I fly one way and just let return leg lapse??
