Taxied past these at LHR the other week...

All up I spotted 8 idle planes, in just one spot from my side window view...

That can't be good for business :!:

I'm no good at spotting the type of aircraft from a photo (other than the obvious) but they maybe A320s which British Airways has wet leased as a way of handling their cabin crew strike. There's no reason for QR planes to be idle at LHR for longer than a couple of hours (maybe one overnight).

Exactly my thoughts.

Cool, that would be a win-win, wouldn't it!! (P.S. photo was mid-afternoon, with no evidence of loading/unloading of passengers, baggage or catering taking place in the area.) So perhaps not as efficient as BA management might wants their publics to believe?

Speaking of that strike, I was hit by a complete refusal to serve the appetiser, as well as the most popular main course and dessert options being physically crossed off on the menu, on a BA F flight recently. If I had know in advance, I would have flown a different airline.

I'm pretty tolerant normally...but if that were me and I'd paid/redeemed an F flight I would NOT have been happy.
