Hello
I have just transferred 18000 Singapore Airlines points to Velocity. The points were expiring at the end of March this year. I now have 21000 points with Velocity. I can't see when they expire though.
I'm wondering how best to spend my Velocity points. They don't even seem to cover one way trip from Albury to Ballina in August. Would that be right?
Thanks in advance

Hi not all flights are available for use with points.

Just checking a random day in August (Saturday 19 August ) price is 17,700 Points.

Velocity points expire after 24 months of no activity, considering you can earn points filling your car up at BP and shopping at Coles, there should be no reason for points to expire

Hi not all flights are available for use with points.

Thanks Bundy. How do I know when my points expire? The 18000 points I transferred from Singapore Airlines were due to expire 31/3/17. Does that apply for Velocity?
How do I know which flights are available for use with points?
Thanks

OK. Thanks. Do points expire with Velocity and if so how do I see when my points expire?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The downside (or slight downside) with Flybuys and Velocity, is that you need 2000 Flybuys points to get 850 or the (irregular/regular bonus of an extra 15% to make it 1000 Velocity points) = 1000 Velocity points) to keep the Velocity points at current levels from expiring or dying.
Easiest is the BP fuel shop way, even if you don't drive, just using your VFF card at the BP outlet to purchase tit bits will count as activity.
