New Muscat, Oman terminal opening date

From OMAAT: Muscat Airport’s New Terminal Opens March 20, 2018

For those of you planning on traveling through Muscat Airport soon, it’s worth noting that the new Muscat Airport terminal will be opening on March, 20, 2018. At that point all operations will be transferred from the old terminal to the new terminal.

Badly needed!

Now all I need is one of those great business class deals from Europe through to Asia via MCT.

MCT is on my plan for 2019 DONEx. Based on Google maps image I guess it's the new central area.
Will be interesting to see inside and from the adjacent Al Mouj golf course when I'm playing there!

Looks like the changeover is in 2 days. Oman Observer has posted pictures of the new terminal and it does look very swish.
