Welcome @AimsG and @Raymond Teece

@Raymond Teece - I have seen Seamless Transfer used in a number of contexts. It could be for a Domestic to International or vice versa flight with a single airline, or it could be between airlines on a codeshare/alliance fare. Generally it refers to the ability to check in and transfer baggage between these services without traveler intervention.

That said, you're best off finding the most appropriate forum area and posting in there, as fewer members will see your question in here.

Thank you I am transferring in Sydney to Cairns I am on Qantas on both and there is only 1hour 35 minutes and this seems it would help if I can get it .

What are the two flight legs that you are flying @Raymond Teece ? ie. The source and destination airports for each of those 2 flights?

I am flying in from Hong Kong to Sydney land at 12.05 then fly out from Sydney to Cairns at 13.40 I am in my 70s and my wife is 69 we are not that good on or legs but can walk do hope it’s going to be easy am worried about it .

My recommendation would be to call Qantas as soon as you can @Raymond Teece and request Meet and Assist for yourself and your wife at Sydney. If you explain the situation to them, I'm sure they will give you advice on what they can do to assist but it should not be difficult for them to help you with a people mover I would think. Here's some info:

Meet and Assist Services | Specific Needs | Qantas

Given you're going from an international to domestic flight I would think you are in a pretty good position to make that connection, assuming there aren't any great delays to your inbound flight's arrival, but check with Qantas on how they can help you as they would be pretty well equipped at Sydney to get you between the terminals I would think.
