Need 380SC to get to Platinum

Good Morning,
I know this tropic may have been covered before, but I need some help to get 380SC to reach Platinum, need it by 31st Jan 2011.
I have 308K in pts and my departure city is BNE. Would prefer to do as much as possible in one day, then another small run the following weekend.
Just after your ideas. Would like to travel J would like to experince the J lounges.

BNE - TSV 24K, TSV-ADL-TSV 48K, TSV-BNE 24K = 360 SCs for 120000 points roughly if you don't use cash to drop points to the 24K minimum, would require a stay in ADL, or go TSV-DRW and return for 400 SCs and more points earned, requiring a stay in TSV and possibly DRW.

The other alternative is BNE MEL NAN SYD MEL BNE which can be done without a stop, which is 340 SC for 140K.

You can book a multicity BNE-MEL, and then MEL-SYD-NAN as two legs, in J and then the reverse for the return. You may save about another $150+ by booking the NAN-SYD-MEL-BNE trip through the QF Fiji web site as a seperate booking.

That might explain why I can’t see anything in my account about a purchase I made on Friday night, no calls to me though.

I paid with my 28 degree card, and had no problems...eticket emailed to me via an agent within 24 hours. Not happy with the Fx tho...seems I got charged about AUD10 extra:shock:. Overall, am pleased that I will get 520SC (and Plat requalification) for around AUD$1184 with 1 night in Mel, and 2 nights in Fiji on points:mrgreen:

I paid between 1200 and 1300 if memory serves me right. Not sure on the cash part of the JASA though. I would suggest doing SYD BNE MEL SYD the one day sleep at home for the night and then some good FLounge time before the trip to NAN.

Thanks v much! Now the $64k question - will it be worth it? Or ... better try it - why die wondering (I doubt if I'll ever get over 3k SC's again)?? Should I spend that weekend home with my family??

Fortunately much of it has either been day trips or else the family have flown with me ... It has been a doozy of a year, though.
