Hi All

Currently sitting on 17,250 miles - a convenient 250 miles below a Dom J QF redemption.

Apart from e-rewards (with whom my profile does not match any open surveys), buying miles (1k for $29.50US), or sharing miles ($12.50US for 1k of Mrs Excel's points) are there any quick/easy ways to grab 250 miles?

I also do not have enough miles in any hotel reward accounts to transfer across.

I know I could just spend the $12.50US - but thought I'd ask the collective genius that is AFF if there's a way to save (on top of the money you've saved me on the trip that left me with 17,250 leftover miles :) )

Umm.. has Aadvantage disappeared as an option on that review site recently?

Well it would appear so! It was definitely there when I linked to the page a couple of days ago, but no longer.

It should still be a nice little earner for Etihad Guest miles though - 150 EY miles per review.

Yep, I just finished a review and thought "where's the AA option?". I've credited it to EY for now too. Might start getting a stack of EY points from this and Fly Buys now.

Another way to keep my AA points alive down the tube, and this was one of the really easy ones!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Cap of 10 reviews per month at 150 points each, and most of the items in the survey seemed non-compulsory (only need to rate 12 criteria).

Unfortunately registering does not seem to automatically save your FF prog details :(

You could try to get the 2000 bonus AA miles through Texture by next issue for 14.99 usd.
Worked for me using my AMEX (ANZ) points posted 1 day after my first month trial then as soon as miles were banked I cancelled.

Thanks, I have tried this one but my BW WMC was put on hold due to the suspected fraudulent transaction, resulting in a rejected direct debit power bill that caused all sorts of bother.

Might try again with my citibank visa debit.

Bugger I've had my Jetstar platinum suspended before while OS, we travel so much now that they know it's legit, although they did call me once after a $8000 bpay payment.

Hi All

Ended up going the e-rewards route, apparently I'll receive the 250 miles within 4-6 weeks. Hopefully they arrive!

Thanks all for the assistance. Might try to pad the account using some other methods!
