Shows up in my profile at the moment as temporarily unavailable? Interesting.

me too.
I have an amex velocity gold & nab velocity gold card and thought some benefits may be coming. but more likely it is just a glitch

When it isn't showing temporarily unavailable, I have seen some people with -2 or -4 on the Velocity website for their two41 allowances, due to it double counting some of the two41 redemptions. Teething problems still...

One of the guys at work tried to use a couple of 2 for 1's this week but was told they had to be booked 21 days in advance. Was this always the case or is this part of the new rules?

Thanks for that, I used all of mine on a family trip last year book well in advance so wasn't sure.

I've had a velocity Amex gold for just under a year. It was never shown in my profile until sometime the past few days. Like others it is showing temporarily unavailable. Surprised it is even mentioned in my profile considering there are no 2-4-1 benefits.

Just for the data point,

Mine briefly (a few weeks ago) showed correctly (3 left). The rest of the time it shows as "temporarily unavailable".

And now it has gone from my profile again, just like it was pre-sabre.

Slightly off topic... Did you have any trouble getting a Virgin branded credit card? I've been told that I've been conditionally approved, but that I need to supply paperwork. That's all normal, but the off putting part is they keep asking for almost the same set of paper work. When I completed the online application they asked for 2 payslips and my drivers licence, which I promptly faxed... Next morning there was an email asking for at least 2 payslips, a phone or mobile bill and my drivers licence. Yesterday afternoon there was another email asking for payslips (2 minimum), utility bill (eg. phone or mobile), drivers licence and a medicare card. Is this normal? 3 similar but not quite the same requests in less than 24 hours?

That was quite similar to my experience. Right hand ignoring left hand it seems.

Seems to be a familiar experience, I received an email stating congrats you have been approved next day another email asking for more paperwork.

I just need to develop some patience. Just received a call from Virgin Money to let me know that Docs are all OK and they should be sending the card in the next few days.

I have gone from temporarily unavailable to blank. There is nothing in the column next to Virgin Credit Card and when I select more details there is no mention of the CC at all.

What's going on ? I havn't used this benefit for 2 years, so should have 4 still showing

Yay. Remind me again why people are saying (here and other forums & blogs) this is a good card to pick up?
</sarcasm>

Seriously though, teething problems are to be expected... One just hopes they don't go on too long.

Sarcasm duly noted and agreed with (almost).

I'm waiting until they sort the problems out and re-evaluate these cards after the dust settles. There does seem to still be a benefit with them for flexi purchase to J upgrade but any cheap 241s at the moment look possibly pointless. We'll have to see what the "real" T&Cs will eventually be, as right now, no one seems to know for certain and chinese whispers rule supreme!
