My mother in law is travelling home to Toowoomba tomorrow after three weeks training people across SNSW, and staying with us in CBR on weekends.
Rather than fly CBR-BNE and take a company vehicle that may or may not have been deposited for her at BNE, and then drive the 2 hours to Toowoomba, she decided to take the Murrays Bus to Sydney Airport, and then take the direct flight to Toowoomba.

Noting that Murrays only drops off at T1, can she check in at the transfer desk at Sydney International and take the transfer bus to T3, or does she have to pay for the train or another bus from T1 to T3?

Cheers! I haven't posted in a while. I've had my feathers clipped of late.

Good question. I'm afraid I don't know the definite answer to this, though I suspect she would be able to use it as she will be flying out of T3 on a Qantas domestic flight.

I guess there's no harming in asking, and if they say no then there's always the train station very close by.

I would be interested to hear if it works.

I've always done it if I had a BP. Not sure what they charge otherwise. Is she able to check before getting the transfer bus, on line with a print out that's worth testing.

If the OP's mother in law checks in at the transfer desk just before the bus waiting area she should have BP in hand.

Mother-in-law checked in at the International Transfer desk using her QFF card, having already checked-in with her mobile. No quibbles mentioned, and the bus took her from T1 to T3 with no fees involved. Good to know for future reference, although getting back in the other direction will obviously not work without coughing up cash.
