Using the online multi-city booking tool I'm unable to select a mix of awards and cash for the segments like you can do with a standard return booking (ie departing flight is an award, return flight is cash). Before wasting time in the phone queue I'm wondering does anyone know if the call centre can do a booking like this?
Example:
BNE to SFO using award
2.5 hour layover
SFO to YVR using cash
YVR to SFO using cash
SFO to BNE using award
There's no BNE to YVR award availability but there is BNE to SFO which is why we were looking at doing the way above, and single booking would save money over individual flights. Thanks.
