Hello,
I temporally filed my Velocity Card somewhere safe, and I need it tomorrow evening to access the Virgin lounge in Melbourne.
I've of my silver luggage tag on hand. Does anyone have a super fast solution as to what I need to do to access the Lounge.

Stupid pre emptive text... Make that misplaced my Velocity card.
Cannot find my card,
Cannot type!
Think it's nap time......dooh!

You haven't really stated what status you are, but assume Silver and you have a pass from hitting Silver?

You should be able to check-in for Photo ID and receive your BP, which will have your details on it, then head to the lounge with the BP (and those details) to prove access eligibility.

Hi Samh004,
Yes I am silver, and hope to be gold by Christmas.
Thanks for the info, I can get some sleep now.
I'm feeling much relieved.

I will presume naively that since the OP mentions a silver luggage tag, then VA Silver status.

I would follow samh004's advice, and if the luggage tag is on hand that makes things simpler again, because the Velocity frequent flyer number is printed on the tag.

The lounge staff should be satisfied enough looking up your account details so they can debit one pass off your online account.

P.S. practice typing a bit more ;)

+1 for the info being on your BP. Just explain to the Lounge Angel that you've misplaced your card. They'll grab your number from the BP & check you in to the Vlounge.

Don't forget to post in the "I'm in the Lounge" thread when you get in!

Hey Avidflyer,
Don't be cross with yourself. I do things like that frequently.

I keep imagining I misplaced the family until I awake and realise it was just a nice dream! ;)

I hope it all worked out for you in the end! (SamH004 was spot on, wasn't he?)

Hi All,
Well I survived my rushed trip to Darwin and back,
Yes the VLounge was a fantastic refuge after working 12 days straight
(including working a full weekend on call from 5:00pm Fri until 8:00am Mon morning) and a 3 hr drive to Tullamarine.
My flight was a 01:45 dept. time, and the nice Mr Virgin Check in Man phoned through to the VLounge as it was just after midnight
to say I was popping in, all I needed was my Boarding pass and photo ID.
Thanks to all who provided positive advice.
Cheers
Avidflyer
