Hi All

Just working out my travel clothes for July for the above trip in J and wondering do Etihad supply PJ's for all or part of the journey? Also anyone know what's in the current amenity kits

Would also be interested to know what the ladies on here travel in for long haul flights and any tips for staying looked refreshed, I always look like the Wreck of the Hesperus coming off a long haul flight.

Also Looking at trying to do a capsule wardrobe for one my one month stay in the UK - believe bamboo clothes are great for travel.

I can only comment on the leg to AUH as that was my destination.

Yes to Pyjamas - including slippers.

Amenity kits - just the usual of socks, toothbrush, toiletries, ear plugs, eye mask etc

I'd likely shower and change in AUH given the flight after that is only short.

Otherwise in flight, I use the Evian facial mist, carry a small deodorant and femfresh wipes. Before descent I generally give myself a powder touch up (I use the Chanel Vitalumerie), run a cotton bud under the eyes to clean up and reapply mascara and lip balm. Little bit of hair smoothing oil.

Yves Saint Laurent is the 'it' compact / cushion / powder of choice these days for the celebs I look after when we fly them around - we always make sure we have a YSL cushion or encre de peu handy - you can get them from Sephora, Mecca or DJ/Myer.

Hi

It's not a fun flight but business class certainly takes the edge off it.
You only get pj's for the long leg of the trip to AUH. I take the pj's with me so you can still have them for the 2nd part if you wish.
I also have a shower in the lounge when i get to Abu Dhabi. There is a hairdryer provided in the room. I've seen people travel with hair straighteners if that's your thing.
Mineral water spray, facial wipes, moisturiser, fess frequent flyer (to stop any plane nasties giving me the dreaded bug at my destination) and nude by nature mineral make up. My eyes always look raw after travel so may add eye spray going forward. Oh and 2 pairs of fetching dvt socks a must.

Good luck 380 a great plane and will be missed departing Melbourne from later this year.
