Hi,
Jetstar is offering an expensive ticket from Melbourne - Da Nang and you can check in Melbourne all the way through.
but booking the two legs independently is much cheaper. March 20th 2016 $520
I've bought the first leg with a price match scoot for $200 MEL-SIN
Arrival time is 16:50
Then the SIN-DAD departs at 18:05 and check-in has to occur 45 minutes prior. This ticket is $100
If we miss it - with some pain in the cough another $100-$150 will get us out of gaol but will mean some stuffing around in Singapore.
I believe there is an airside transfer desk. Does anyone have any experience here? I've also heard of people successfully convincing Jetstar staff to Check there next leg in even when it is on another ticket. Anyone know the trick here?
Interested in your opinions - and yes I know it's an Usain Bolt effort to get to the airside check/in transfer desk (assuming they have one for Jetstar) to check in at Terminal 1 Changi.
Does anyone have an photos of the transfer desk where you'd pickup your next boarding pass?
Thanks - I look forward to receiving your helpful advice and am thankful for it.
