Malaysian economy plus fares

Hi everyone long time reader, first time poster of a thread, I am planning a trip to Malaysia and Sri Lanka with the wife and 8 ,month old bub looking into MH economy plus fares which gives business class seats but at a reduced price. Has any one had any experience with these fares? Is MH reasonable to travel with an 8 month old infant?
