Lurkers checkin' out ma profile (Or drron wants 2000 profile visitors :) )

It's one thing to look at your recent profile views and see the names of people you've interacted with on the forums, but it feels a bit weird to see a bunch of names of people you've never heard of there.

Anybody else got Stalky Lurkers?

I have never really looked before - but of the last 10 vistors, I only recognised 4 names :shock:

I always have a self-conscious thought when I look at somebody's profile, I'm always thinking "Oh no, they'll know I looked at their profile and will think I stalked them"

When I look at my profile there is a few I haven't seen before too!

I often do similarly. A lot of the random people who view mine are relatively new members (sub-20 posts) so i'm assuming they may also be interested in the people on here who post a lot (say people with posts over 1k). I do sometimes look at the frequent posters on other forums I may just have joined, to see if there's any info on them (inquisitive, not stalking, honest!).

Although the recent people who have viewed mine are mainly regulars:

On an Ipad fat fingers can get one to be a lurker by accident. I know I have looked up Slats7 using that technique. You can do a name change if you think it could be a stalker.

Yep, I sometimes check my profile and wonder why people were looking at it ... Perhaps they expect to find something more interesting about me, a photo, or even my email address.

Doesn't worry me.
