Anyone have a good recommendation for a fun delicious lunch/brunch in HK. I have a long layover soon in HK and would love to know of any great places others have been to!

Unsure about brekky but would highly recommend Sevva which is my current fave for lunch or high tea. Definitely delicious, fun and glamourous, with an awesome buzz!

Otherwise I'd usually go to some dim sum place for brunch. Lung King Heen, Lei Garden, cough Man Loom (SP??), Tim Ho Wan, Fu Sing and Wang Fu are all good. Wouldn't consider any of them 'fun' but they're totes delish!

A long layover...I presume a few hours of transit time. If that is the case, take the airport express to Hong Kong station. Somewhere around there, at IFC, look for a WATSON store. In front of it, there's an escalator going down. Downstairs you will find a food section. Look for TIM HO WAN. You won't miss it because of the long waiting line. Be prepare to queue. This is a branch of the "hole in the wall" dim sum place (original at Mongkok) that received a one Michellin Star. The owner, Chef Mak used to be with the Ritz Carlton, Hkg. The signature pastry bun is a must and to die for!!

Enjoy!

Go to Stanley if you have time. Taxi from Central Airport Express station should take 20 minutes via Aberdeen tunnel.

You can take a nice walk by the sea side followed by brunch overlooking the sea in any of the short string of restaurants there. Also a good market.

+ 1 for Lung King Heen at the FS

Forgot one more - Sing Yin at the W. And thereafter you can retreat to WooBar for delicious coughtails. Or depending on when you're there, Kitchen does a really nice bubbly Sunday brunch.

If you don't have much time, and don't mind not having Chinese/Catonese style food you could try Greyhound Cafe in IFC (same building as Central Station).

Despite the name, it's Thai. I love the "Complicated Noodles" - a dish you have to assemble yourself. Everything I've eaten there is delicious!

Tim Ho Wan is great, but this place has a nice view and you could probably do a 2 hour return trip to the airport if you really wanted!

Saying that, my suggestion was if you were really short of time. The other ideas are mostly places I have been and I would recommend them all.

If you are going to the Four Seasons, lunch at Caprice is definitely a winner. Can't recommend that place highly enough!
