Lufthansa/Singapore International Checkin Sydney

What is the earliest you can checkin for international flights with Lufthansa/Singapore Air at Sydney Airport?

The sydney airport website says checkin only opens 3 hours before. Is this correct as overseas airports generally dont have this restriction?

It may well be right, and it does happen at overseas airports too, but it all depends on size. If they don't have many flights (as Lufthansa don't) then they don't staff it earlier. It's just larger airports/hubs have flights throughout the day, so there are constantly staff there due to the need to check-in for earlier flights.

That said, Singapore has a decent number of flights here, so should be fairly well covered.
