We will be flying out of Brisbane in December to Bali with Pacific Blue and would like to access a lounge prior to departure. The only lounge I can find for Virgin Blue is in the Domestic terminal. We intend to pay for a lounge pass, so just wondering if anyone has ideas on the best option?

Air New Zealand lounge is only accessible for Trans-Tasman services so you’ll most likely be turned away, and you couldn’t use lounge passes in a third-party lounge anyway.

I am having the exact same issue. I was going to try and sweet talk my way in to the AirNZ lounge even though its a flight to Indonesia. I'm Gold status with Virgin so surely they wouldn't mind...?..

Yesterday booked VA PE MEL-BNE-VLI (Port Vila) Dec 26 / Jan 2 - I am Vel Plat and Cruiserette Vel Gold.

The Lounge in BNE Dom but no lounge in BNE Intl - experienced identical situation 12mths ago - with all the DJ hoopla over last 12mths I thought this might have been remedied - but alas no.

It's not good, you would think they would have arranged something with one of their partners if VA won't build their own lounge...

They have a cheat sheet to refer to at lounge entrance and will turn you away if you don’t have access.
