Hi all.

Have a booking with Qantas (points booking) on FJ871 SFO-NAD in J (no status)

Are we eligible for lounge access - an if so which lounge?

We have friends travelling on the same flight in paid economy (no status) - can we guest them in to the lounge with us??

Thank you

Short answer is no access to Qantas partner Lounge

You will need a QF flight number and I believe operated by QF to get into the Partner lounge at SFO QF does not operate a lounge in SFO. QF uses the Air France-KLM lounge for most lounge eligible passengers. Note the 'lounge' is more like a canteen. Cramped, no showers, food is snack type food. And also no guests allowed.

Fiji Airways is not a One World Airline - just a One World Connect airline.

FJ flight numbers can use the one and only FJ lounge in Nadi, and if flying with FJ and connecting with their sponsoring airlines: QF operated lounges including LAX, Cathay lounges in HKG, BKK, SIN.

Nah I would say the AF-KLM canteen is slumming it.
There are several quite nice restaurants post security at SFO international. I would go there before setting foot in the "Canteen".

The Cathay SFO Marco polo lounge is not definitely slumming it and is open the QF passengers but they must be at least Platinum and more likely platinum one status to be let in.

Yes, as you're flying in J you'll have access to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in SFO.

No, you won't be able to guest your friends.

I believe that's changed: Cathay Pacific opens San Francisco lounge to Qantas frequent flyers
