Lions Tickets - early release! Any help welcome.

Hi all,

Qantas FF of certain tiers - assume gold/plat are eligible to buy early release tickets for the British Lions vs Wallabies today on Ticketmaster in Brisbane. I'm a lowly bronze however would really appreciate if someone would share the code with me? Same goes for the Melbourne early release.

Yeah well sorry. I just don't believe in sharing secret offers for this type.

BTW my rugby membership is only $50 a year as a supporter living in Adelaide. You should sign up to the Queensland Reds.

Or volunteer at your local club as a coach and you will be swimming in offers, as well as the odd free ticket to the Super15. You are also helping out which feels nice, the beer is cheap too. (well it is at my club).

Actually had another result today, managed to get a Business seat on Sing A380 to London in June with Krisflier and a return leg first class with BA using Qantas miles to HK - but damn economy from HK to Sydney! all with no status!

I'm more of a Cricket and Football (not Soccer as some like to call it) fan but don't mind Rugby Union. Think we will stick to watching The Waratahs v The Lions 3 weeks before the Sydney test. I'm not enough of a fan to spend the hundreds of $'s when you can go and see The Waratahs game for less than $50.

I am however plotting my Ashes trips for December using some already acquired QF vouchers. A few days out in the sun relaxing sounds better value for money to me.

Sydney not a secret. Tourism NSW are using code DESTINATION
Melbourne are harder - i got a mate to do it who has Plat status. apparently will be another release on Thursday at 12pm down there and more on Monday at 9am. Good luck!

Picked up some 'impeded view' tickets for Melbourne today. They didn't have any bronze left at 1205pm so am wondering if they ever even were offered.

Yep, hence my comments about being bombarded with offers. SWMBO refused permission to attend. She's also not impressed with quade's design t-shirt fouling up her house either. At least number one child has seen the reds play at Ballymore.
