Hi all, I am a LTG and now have 17023 Lifetime QF status credits. I tend to fly more Star Alliance now being Singapore based. I assume others on the forum have many more SC. I know there is no lifetime platinum, but has anyone had any "soft" benefit from Qantas with significantly more Lifetime SC?

ps it has taken 20 years of Qantas membership to reach this level.

There has been talk of something around 28000 SC. Nothing confirmed.

Just clocked over 77,641 LTSC's and 9795 SC's for the year. There were no additional benefits in crossing the 50,000 or 75,000 levels - not even a framed picture of Ryan Bingham from Up in the Air fame....

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I think you need to "move" out of Australia and sign up for the BA program. They have LT emerald.

Surely that's getting into CL territory. I know CL is for execs who influence corporate travel spend, but that's an amazing achievement.

You should really move to another program. Why would they reward your loyalty, when you are crediting to them regardless?

Take lifetime Gold and join BAEC for lifetime emerald.

77,000 SCs. :shock::shock::shock:

They should give you a plane.

I'll be LTG in 44 days. Not that I'm counting or anything... :D

my mind boggles at >75k SC's. I am boggled.

Back in the 90's UA named new 777's after high mileage/profile customers. I dunno if that would be a good or bad thing. May suit some sort of personalities I guess.

(still boggling)

Maybe you will get to have a chat with the Chief Pilot or have an aircraft named after you? ;)

nice "Up in the Air" reference there. I was thinking along those lines myself :)

Chris Gibbs, you really deserve something special.. How many years have you been earning? Any advance on Chris Gibbs' 77,641 SC?

Nothing special is needed. Qantas look after me especially when it hits the fan. All I ask for is to be able to use my points on flights I want in the class I want for my family and I (Wife and 3 kids). The majority of time we can do this however of late things have tightened up. I typically don't accept tickets to sporting events as this means I spend more time away from the family. Anything that Qantas can offer that includes the ability to share the experience with the family is always gratefully accepted.

I've been a QF Flyer since 1995. Pre-Ansett I split my travel between Ansett for domestic and Qantas for International. I'm lucky with the roles I've had over the last 20+yrs involving extensive international and domestic travel. Over the last few years this travel has been predominately international hence the annual SC earn rate is anywhere between 7,000 - 11,000 SC's. Assuming nothing significantly changes from a work perspective we could hit the 100,000 SC mark in the next 3-4 years.

^^^ Chris Gibbs...... Hmmmm, a long lost Bee Gee brother maybe??? Certainly would explain the travel.

If I had a SC for every time I'd heard that one..... No relation to the Gibb brothers. I would be comfortable in saying there would be a reasonable number of QF FFlyers with LTSC's higher than 75K maybe even some over the 100K mark.

OMFG! That is dedication!

Time me for people to "out" themselves to see if ChrisGibss is way out front or merely part of a pack of extremely dedicated flyers.

I got to LTG while still doing a fair amount of business travel. The second turn around the dial has all been SFSC.

Nothing at all happened at 28000 SCs.

Chris - just to confirm yours and others comments. I have 79,000 LTSC (you'd be passed that by now) and did 12,000 last year. Like you mostly international. There is no significant benefit to going over Platinum One status but as you say - they do look after you with redemptions and the like - if you push them a little - for family benefits. The P.O. Team is certainly incredibly helpful but once you're past that it doesn't change.

Just curious as to what kind of job you guys do to have such an incredible amount of travel? I've just started travelling for work just over 12 months ago and love it! Would love for it to continue, especially internationally. So far most of it's just domestic between Sydney and Melbourne. But it's not likely to last long term.
