Hi all,

I have a trip coming up to LHR in J in CX with a transit of 3:45 to get to T5 for a BA Y flight (separate PNR’s).
Can someone confirm whether there are showers in the BA T5 gallery lounges? I did a similar trip 3 years ago and never found them (though didn’t try that hard). Hoping to have enough time to transit and shower before hopping onboard my next flight.

Only ruby. But not needed as you get business lounge access if arriving from a long haul international flight under the one world rules.

The showers in T5 are not actually in the lounge from memory. When I was in the BA F lounge it you actually leave the lounge and it seemed to be in the main entry area between the different lounges. Just ask when you enter the lounge and they'll point them out.

Makes sense given my past experience then!

If you're referring to T5 South, where the CCR and Galleries F lounge are on the first floor, the showers are right next to the CCR entrance and next to the spa. ie opposite side to the F lounge entrance.
Because you will only have Galleries Club (J level, OWS) access, that lounge is another level up. Fortunately it has been some years since I went upstairs, so I don't have any recent experience about what it's like in there.
Not a big deal but will save you from going up and down again, in case you weren't sure of the location.
There might be a wait if it's busy and tend to prioritise BA F pax.
