I have booked an award flight with Qantas next year from LAX-SYD in J and arrive at 8:30AM, the Qantas Website has given me a connecting flight to ADL in J at 10:35am. Is 2 hours enough time to clear customs/immigration (I'm assuming Ill be fast tracked?), collect luggage and checkin for the Domestic Flight? I'm assuming I can't checkin for the Domestic flight from the International side?

Thanks for your advice :)

Two hours is more than enough time. Also you'll be checked in for your SYD-ADL flight in LAX.

As J, you'll likely be given an express pass, but inbound they are not always the fastest, and I've typically found the slow lane / e-lanes to be just as fast. From memory there is a Dom bag drop on the International side (sorry, a long time since I've done the Int-Dom connection with checked bags)

Plus if all flights are on the one ticket, if you do miss the connection, QF will simply book you onto the next ADL flight.

Same ticket?
You'll just go to the Qantas connections desk and check in there before clearing security and getting the QF bus over to T3. If you are delayed, the QF staff at connections will just move you to the next flight.

Yes, you will receive your boarding pass for the domestic flight in LAX. Your bags will also be tagged to ADL (though you collect them in SYD). After Customs and Immigration in Sydney, take your bags to the QF domestic check-in/bag drop.

Then you go through security in the lounge there and catch the bus across the tarmac to gate 15, where you are delivered into the domestic terminal.
