Hello

Was wondering if anyone knows if LST Q club stays open till last JQ flight tonight?

Tried to ring them and no answer so presume it is only till last Qf leaves?

Current "Qantas Group"philosophy is the QP remains open for QF, not JQ flights.

IMHO all Q clubs close after the last QF flight of the day.

Sometimes the lounge will stay open but that is only really basic lounges where there is no real staff service like Mky as I have been on a JQ flight and Q club is still open as same staff does both check ins for QF and also JQ

Yes it stays open for JQ last flight to Melbourne.

Its a self service lounge .

Oh well, expect the worst and it's harder to get disappointed.

Indeed I didn't expect it would remain open but it did. they just have one person who occasionally clears tables and restocks the fridge and snack supply

Well, yes it was open till I left.

What Aussie Flyer said, kind of like a big motel room with drinks and chips and muesli bars.

Where you there too?

Maybe some sandwiches in the fridge would have been a nice touch so that one could actually get some food of substance. However still nice to get a free drink and snack.

On another point this was my second ever JQ flight and surprisingly the hosties were pretty friendly and nice, which is not what I had heard.
After the cart came through they came back and said I had a five dollar voucher as part of my fair. Funnily enough that was just enough to buy a bottle of water!
