I'm taking this trip in a couple of weeks and have been booked in premium economy. As far as I can see, the A319's that fly this route don't have a premium cabin. Does anyone know if this is the case? I don't want to pay for something I won't get...

I am also doing Santiago to Rio on the 21st September. I originally wanted my agent to book me Business class but was told that they only do Premium Econ on that route. If you look at LAN website you will find that flight LA772 deps at 1310 arr 1825 seems to be the only flight that does show Premium econ as available (especially my date).

You didn't give your travel date but as another example I looked for a flight in a couple of weeks, 15th Aug, and it shows premium economy on flight LA786 0720 - 1235 and LA772 1310 - 1825.

This is about a 4+ hour flight and it was one of my stipulations to my agent when booking that I would not fly that time and distance in Y class. and he has assured me I,m in PE.

The two times I've flown SCL to GIG it's 6:05 hours and 6:20 back. There's a 20 to 30 minute stop in Sao Paulo where you stay on the plane as well.

Thanks
I'm on LA772 so it should be premium.
As I'm doing BNE-SYD-SCL-Antofagasta-SCL-GIG-SCL-SYD-BNE over 8 days I'm hoping for a bit of comfort...

You've got a lot of travelling over a short period. I've got BNE- SYD - SCL - GIG - IGU then IGR - AEP then MVD - SCL - SYD - BNE over approx 3 weeks.

Tell me about it. I come back, do BNE-PER twice and then Joburg. Keeps the P1 renewal in the bag tho....
Yours is a long time on the road though...

Thks, sounds like yours is work related, at least mine is pleasure. No P1 for me, best I will do is retain silver, if that's really worth anything.
