Hi there,

Can anyone find my wife and I (travelling together please)
Business class flights from KUL to London.

Happy to make our own way to SIN or anywhere relatively close such as HKG or BKK, and have our own holiday in one of these destinations for a few days (if say QF from SIN to LON is an option) - we have no need to fly business short-haul.

Dates: flexible by a couple of days around 14 July to 14 August 2018

I have 170 000 QF FF points and my wife holds 39 000, so we could book flexible economy and use points on QF or similar

Prefer a premium airline (QF, Qatar, Emirates etc) with daytime flights.
If we do go another airline (ie Malaysia), prefer a plane with decent business class (A350 is better than A380 etc). Direct or one stopover is best.

Prefer Heathrow rather than Gatwick but not a huge deal breaker.

I would like to use my points if possible. As a benchmark, business class on qatar, singapore or qf is about $4100 or so each... But of course, am always interested if you can get significantly cheaper than this!

Many thanks in advance

CGK - LGW on your dates with Qatar is $2600 return in J per pax - all flights are on the 787.
The flight out of CGK on the 14th is at 9.00 so would probably need an overnight in Jakarta.

Another option is to fly to Milan Malpensa from Jakarta for $1760 per pax in QR J. Departing on the 15th of July at 6.25 pm from CGK so you could connect from KUL on the same day easily. Return there are two options departing MXP on the 14th of August at 9.00 or 22.40. Should be the same price for 15th, 16th as well. These flights are also on 787.

Thanks YLD - after a bit of searching I found I can go from BKK to LHR on Malaysian for $2100 - equivalent (ie exactly the same) flight was $4200 if booked from KUL to LHR.

Can you send me a PM?

What about BA? I flew this route last November. It’s a night flight, but if you’re flying business is that a deal breaker? Don’t know about award availability using QF points, it’s worth a look though.
