Just requalified WP, is there usually a time delay with the new card ?

I recently (2 weeks ago) requalified WP. And while the web site shows my status as WP. there hasn't been any correspondence from QF.
is this unusual? I only ask because Mrs GPH requa'l (actually was comp'ed before requal) and her stuff seemed (to me) to come out to her very quickly.

They will inform you by snail mail about a month before the end of your FF year.

I usually requal about 4 weeks into my year, so about 10 months later my grovelling letter and new card arrives.

I requal'd to WP in less than 6 months into my new membership year, didn't get my new card til a month before anniversary date.

Must be taking the long way to Brizvegas ... or there are issues with QLD renewals ...

I also requalified in August and received my new card about a week prior to the 31st. This for someone who is usually last to receive offers etc (my real surname is toward the end of the alphabet and I'm thinking QF "batch" emails).

Hopefully you get the shiny-black soon.
