I was just watching this documentary featuring him a few days ago, timely announcement. At 95 though, glad that he had a fair run.

Haven't flow a 747 for years, but I will be taking one SYD-SFO next week... I miss the rear twin seat rows.

Oh that is sad news.

I'm happy that he got to see & play with all the B747's and the B747-8 (which I believe will be the version of the B747).
