Jetstar First Lounge Run

Hi Friends,

Doing my first 1st Lounge run next friday on JQ28 and returning on JQ3 on Monday (Syd-Mel Return)
Couple of questions for a newbie!
I know I can online checkin on Jetstar but I still need to collect a boarding pass and the domestic sticker am I correct?
Will the QF First checkin be able to handle this or do I have to line up with the JQ Masses?
I am assuming JQ Star Class checkin will not be able to do this for me because JQ is not part of Oneworld?
Will 1st lounge be able to seat me in exit row seats on JQ without fee?

Entered the 1st lounge a couple of months ago on QF19 to Brisbane and I felt like a child in a candy store... That place is AMAZING
Managed to get a facial as well so I guess I set the bar high for future trips

Line up early for JQ checkin, they'll be late to their jobs but there's nothing you can do but be front of the line. If you're nice, they could give you exit row. F checkin cannot check you in.

If you have time, you can checkin online first and then find a domestic counter (in the domestic terminal) and get the boarding pass there. They can do it, but you have to be really nice and hopefully not catch them on a busy day. You can then grab a D sticker from a domestic lounge, usually.

I don't think you can OLCI. It wouldn't let me do it when I did an flounge run a few weeks ago.

You can't check-in online, you need to line-up 3 hours beforehand at the check-in counters

You can SOMETIMES check-in when the counter is open for another flight, but it's very hit/miss so I wouldn't bother
QF First can not check you in
QF First can not pick a seat for you

I was just looking into prices for JQ28, however, I only found this particular plane doing the SYD-MEL leg on a Tuesday, never on a Friday. Just curious, how did you find this flight?

It's a very easy day trip. I did it from BNE a few weeks ago.

Just wondering if somehow I can do this as part of one of my last trips to MEL in my current role. Just wish I could find an int'l flight MEL-SYD in the evening...

you can't web checkin but last time to avoid the queues i went to the empty web checkin counter and told them the website wont let me do check-in and that i was hand luggage only and they did it for me there.
