Hi
I booked starclass AKL-SIN, on special and good way to earn points. Jetstar have now changed from *class to Business and busines max. Only business max gets qff points and the new booking says business class.. Has anyone else had this change and did you get points?
I would rather get clarity before I fly than trying to get the problem solved after the flight.
thanks

I booked a *Class fare (MEL-BKK return) in April and travelled in late May just after the change.

Points and SCs posted within 48 hours on both legs.

On my BPs it was listed Frequent Flyer and lounge access, no problems at all.

I hope they get the fares back to a realistic level soon so I can do some more MRs.

Interested in anyone else's experience. I booked a *class which was then converted to Business and not business max. Called them and they altered and resent, said it should be business max. I checked today and it has reverted again to business so no points etc. I am unable to get a straight answer out of them and quite honestly don't trust what they tell me on the phone.
Currently just thinking I should cancel and rebook with a carrier that I trust to honour their original tickets.
Also does anyone know if there are actually any ticket offices, or should I call at an airport as I would actually like to speak to someone in person.
Thanks for any words of wisdom!

similar experience here. Booked an el cheapo *Class promo fare SYD-DPS-SYD last year for travel June 11. Lounge access prints on BP and points posted within a week.

When the new fare structure was introduced, JQ clearly do explain *class promo fares would be converted to business fare, but original benefits would be maintained. So no need to worry.

Great - thanks good to know that I should get what I paid for as it sounds like you did no problem. Did your booking show as Business only - they have chnaged mine again and shows Business Max so left wondering what they are up to.....

I flew DPS - SYD a couple of weeks ago and had this change too. I kept my old Starclass print-out in case there were any problems down the track but there weren't. The QF status credits and points were posted about a week after the flight.

I would think that what they are doing here would have to change anyway.

Surely people aren't going to pay in excess of $400 each way for

[h=4]Max bundle includes[/h]
  • Refundable (fee applies)
  • Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status credits^
  • Lounge Access

Just got back from a MEL-SIn RTN in J* 'Business" booked as old *class. Point and SC's have posted already (much to my surprise and delight!) :)

trying to get to Bali in October. fare is ridiculous with Jetstar Business max.

Any other one world carriers? Suggestions please?

Thanks in advance!

Since QF jetstarised the routes to dps, I believe the only other ow option is CX via hkg.
