When adding a JQ bundle to my booking the return sector shows up as "free" (screenshot 1). However when I go to the seat selection page it seems to have ignored the bundle and is charging for seat selection (screenshot 2). Can those who've experienced this issue before tell me how they resolved it please?

This might be one of those times when JQ and QF are different beasts, but Red Roo, any ideas/assistance?

I know I've seen posts on this problem before, but can't seem to find them.

Had similar errors in the past but there was no way to fix from my end - just had to wait until it fixed itself

might be worth trying a different browser, clearing cache etc

also using the mobile site might be a solution

I've previously seen and booked a $0 Plus Bundle.
But it actually showed as $0 (not blank). And let me select the seats.

so nothing to add, other than trying yohy!'s suggestions

I've got this as well, in fact about to head to TSV for a flight to SYD, bought $145+ $0 plus bundle. Can choose seat etc as usual.
OT but I find it strange bne/tsv fares are always more expensive then syd/tsv fares. Strange considering distance is further.

I usually checked in online but today did so at counter as I have luggage. Noticed my boarding pass has no V05A. Asked the staff about it and was told it's likely because I'm on saver fare. I insisted I have the plus bundle as I can choose seats. The supervisor came around and enter something in the computer and printed a new boarding pass with the $5 voucher.

I wonder was error it was, plus bundle pricing error, or no bundle recorded, or just boarding pass print out error. Let's see if the Qantas points and SC post in a few days.

Thanks for you suggestions so far. It's still not worked. I tried clearing the cache, a different browser and the mobile app. Any other ideas?

You did click the Add button for both the outbound and the return?

Sure did. It let me progress on that basis, but after entering passenger details I reached the seat selection screen and it was adding $5 per person each time I selected a seat. In the black box on the right hand side labelled "payment summary" it showed the plus bundle outbound with free seat selection, not no bundle on the return sector.

I was just asking the obvious question. The screenshots were a bit fuzzy to my eyesight.

An update on this for those who are interested.

I sent RedRoo a PM expecting this to be one of those times that JQ isn't part of QF. I was right.

I tried the website a few more times from different devices and browsers with no luck so I called JQ and to my surprise the chap at the call centre replicated the problem and said he would make the booking over the phone for the web price and wave the credit card fee. I could hardly believe I was dealing with JQ at this point. It all seemed too easy.

To cut a long story short we got to the end of the booking and the total was $82 more than the web price. Ah, that's the JQ we all know and loath. From there it was on hold, consult supervisor, off hold, fast talking, excuses, spin, frustration. 70 mins later I copped the extra $82 just to be put out of my misery.

A few days later my PM to RedRoo saw the issue hand-balled to the social media coordinator at JQ who sent me a PM requesting additional details but claiming JQ IT couldn't replicate the problem. I sent more screen shots, told them the call centre guy could replicate the problem, and pointed out he'd stung me for an extra $82. It's been silence since then (more than a week at the time of writing).

I look forward to updating you all when they refund my $82.

I booked & paid for row 10 on Jetstar only to be moved to row 13 on 1st Jan to Bali, the excuse was it,s a bassinet seat .I wasn,t told this at the time of booking,Problem 2,on the return flight which was delayed 3 hours we got the seats that we had paid for,but the meal we ordered at the time of booking was not what we had ordered, but was told by the crew member that it was what we had ordered as it was on his sheet. After contacting Jetstar & explaining my dilemma ,the usual nothing we can do about it. I then quoted the terms & conditions reference regarding my complaint & they agreed to refund the cost of our paid for seats on the outward bound flight, but were adimant that the meal I had ordered online was what I received .Only problem I did my booking through the call centre for which their was a fee .I have received a call from the customer care centre& the still say that the booking was made online, so no refund for the meal, but as a token of goodwill they have sent me & my wife 2 $50 vouchers which I probably won,t use, once bitten twice shy. What Jetstar should realize is not to treat the customers with the attitude it,s not Jetstar,s fault it,s the customers fault. Also had to cough up $135.00 for a taxi as my son was to pick us up at 11 pm but because of delay didn,t arrive until 2am.

Update #2 for those following this thread.

JQ have emailed me a second time asking for the screenshots of the booking pages - which I've happily supplied. Apparently the web developer people are still working to identify and rectify the issue.

The $82 hasn't been refunded. No one is surprised right? Least of all me.

And of course in true JQ style the schedule for these flights has change and the robot has sent me an email asking me to select new flights anyway.

I really sympathise with the QFFers in Perth who feel abandoned, but at times like this can't help but feel Darwin based international travellers are just as badly served.

Note to QF or MH: There is a premium market DRW-SIN in particular (and HKG) going begging!
