Jetstar Asia to Emirates Luggage Question

Hi,

I have booked a redemption through Qantas on Jetstar Asia (DPS-SIN) and connecting to Emirates J (SIN-MEL) for early next year.

I was wondering if I am able to check my bags all the way through to MEL, or if I have to collect them in SIN to recheck in.

I have done it before from 3K - QF and vice versa.

They wouldn't allow it for a JQ - 3K for some reason.

The Jetstar site has further info, but considering the transfers desk is on the way to immigration it doesn't take much of your time to ask.

Not sure if it helps but I had a 3K-EK connection in SIN last week on QF award and luggage checked through to BKK in BNE.

Have 3K-QF flight tomorrow from KUL and think the same will happen.

Thanks. From what I read on the Jetstar site, I think it's ok. But thought it best to check.
