Not sure where to create this thread so hopefully this is the right place for my question.

I am looking to book the following reward flight on JAL from Osaka to KL this coming November on the Qantas website.

A few questions I have for people who may have done this in the past:

1) I read from the JAL website here Lounge service for passengers connecting between International flight and Japan Domestic flight.(Lounge Service) - JAL International Flights that if the flight out is on a business ticket, I will have access to the domestic lounge as well, is this true?

2) The stopover in Narita is around 2 hours from what I can see, is there enough time for me to utilise the Narita Sakura Lounge as well?

3) During check-in at Itami, can I check-in all the way for my flight to KL as well without having to collect my luggages and doing another round of check-in when I land in Narita?

4) What does null baggage allowance mean?

Thank you all for your answers, much appreciated!

I believe you would indeed have access at both airports for the reasons you state, and you will have enough time to visit the (excellent) Sakura lounge at Narita.

Your bag will be checked through to Kuala Lumpur as both flights will be on the same ticket, and your allowance will be 3 checked bags (ignore that error message - it's probably a Qantas website glitch).

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my questions Matt, much appreciated!
Was initially worried that I had to collect my luggages upon arrival at Narita and re-checking in so would reduce my time at the Narita Sakura Lounge.
Sounds all good now :)

On this note, are you allowed to go in and out of the Sakura Lounge at NRT. I've got a long layover in NRT before an onward flight to HAN and would like to know if I can use it in the morning, roam around Tokyo during the day and then return in the evening? TIA

Where are you arriving in NRT from? I don't think you'll be able to do this because the lounge is airside in the international departures area. You can't just leave that area and head into Tokyo.

I'd be flying in from MEL (JL774) and then catching a connecting flight from NRT to HAN in the evening. In this case, would it be possible to use the lounge in the morning, clear immigration, head out to Tokyo and then return in the evening to use the lounge again before the evening flight departs to HAN. Thanks.

No, because the lounge is in the international departures area (after transit security, which you wouldn't pass through if you're leaving the airport). It's not an arrivals lounge.
