Title is self explanatory! Thanks in advance for any light anyone can shed on this.

As a straight International Flight.

Was offered this on Webjet yesterday for MEL-DPS.

1/ As a classic award booking

2/ As an inbound (from international) connection.

So what I'm really looking to do is just a normal domestic flight, not an award booking, but want a QF flight number for double status credits purposes!

Hmmmm.....

Possible maybe as an ASA booking.

Otherwise probably SOL.

AFAIK anyway.

Does the T&C of the DSC offer state that you have to travel on a QF marketed flight and/or operated flight to get the bonus SC ie does it specifically say that JQ flights don't earn DSC?

My recent DSC offer only saw me get a bonus 10 SC for a QF SYD/BNE flight as the other travel I'd already booked prior to 02 April 2013.

Just out of interest, why would you chose to fly JQ even if it's with a QF code? Booking a JQ flight through QF is a sure fire way of QF directing any problems to JQ and JQ directing any problems to QF.

First class lounge.

ozbeachbabe, yes, T&Cs say it must have a QF flight number - thus my question. We might try doing an ASA.

Thanks for the answers all.

Is the trip MEL/SYD vv?

Yep, Mel/Syd - fly up on a Wednesday, fly back on a Thursday - both JQ flights that leave from the international terminal so First Class Lounges in both Mel and Syd. Would be nice for my colleague who currently has double status credits offer and is 180 SCs off gold to get DSCs though.
