Hi

I am flying Brisbane to Heathrow via Abu Dhabi in business, but this is a Virgin Australia points reward ticket. So booked through VA with points.

I am trying to avoid taking the train to the airport in London due to luggage, and saw the EY chauffer. But is it available to me as a VA reward ticket in business?

Any advise appreciated!

Thanks

I'm in the same boat – J via VA reward.

Pretty sure all J/F pax are entitled.

When I go in to look at my booking on the EY website, it gives me the option to reserve the chauffeur, including pick-up/drop-off times and locations. (I haven't done it yet, since I'm yet to book a hotel in London and not sure if they'll let me change my chauffeur reservation).

I just tried using the website but it says invalid PNR.

So I found the Australian call centre number (1300 532 215) and phoned.

I am now successfully booked. They will ask many questions to find the reservation, then confirm it is okay for VA then confirm it is okay for a reward seat, but eventually they booked it and sent me a confirmation email.

This is a brilliant service and helps me a lot!

You should be able to book the EY chauffeur drive online when flying on a reward ticket - they do knock out some promo and special fares but not awards.
I travelled on an AA U reward on EY metal in June to SIN and had no problems at all booking the CD.
It can also be booked over the phone with EY and you may have to call them to get their version of the PNR. More than likely they will offer the CD service if they have you on the line.ðŸ

No, you can't book online. It will say "not eligible".

But you can call Etihad's customer service and book it. The reason you can't book online is because the ticket is treated as booked by a travel agent so you can't book online.

Initially I thought I was not eligible but I got my chauffeur after calling Etihad. It was a Lexus LS400 at BNE airport.

I have a EY reward flight in J booked via VA and I could definitely book the chauffeur online.

I was able to book the chauffeur online with both va and aa rewards but weirdly only in my partners name even though we were both on the same booking (both tickets were booked by me both with reward points)
