I came across this article and wondered how closely the rewards company in question was tied to Myer One.

Do any members have thoughts on the issue? Do AFF members use their Myer One points quickly or save them up for a big reward? I've always tried to spend points in loyalty programs as quickly as possible to avoid losing points to devaluation or collapse of the loyalty program.

The article link is below. If anyone can find links for other articles on the subject please feel free to post them on the thread.

Hmm. Would Myer (as one example) allow their name to be tarnished by the collapse of their frequent spender scheme? I doubt it. The company might go, but I suspect some resolution would be found..

I doubt Myer One would be affected. Also, I didn't think you could save up Myer One points, they just send you a gift voucher when you reach the required number of points..

Sorry, thanks for the clarification. I probably asked the wrong question. I confess, I'm not a Myer One member as I don't shop very often at Myer. I'm just interested in loyalty programs in general and thought Myer One members would be interested in following the story.
