Invalid City Pairs

Hi all - just a quick question.

Was looking at a classic award booking with QF points, flying CX.

I note if I try and book HKG to SGN that it allows me to do so, however if I book a one way from SGN to HKG it comes up as invalid city pairs.

Is this a technical website glitch or some OW rules that mean it can only happen originating from HKG

it's a technical issue. Happens with many many cities on the QF search engine. Can go one way but cannot go the other way but booking a return works fine. Probably has something to do with the engine not being able to calculate taxes from certain countries/currencies is my guess.

You should be able to, but be sure to request that the phone booking fee is waived due to the failure of the web site.

Had the same issue trying to book GIG-JFK one-way.

As mentioned, used the return trip to find availability then rung up.

Booking fee waived as couldn't be booked online.

Cannot book awards online to/from CNX but can book revenue flights.

From memory awards ex KUL are also an issue?
