Update: Business Portal users who have access to log in and book flights can now join themselves to Velocity Frequent Flyer within the Business Portal.

How to: Prior to making a booking and after selecting the ‘Account’ heading, click on ‘My account’. Tick the check box to confirm you have read and agree to Velocity’s Privacy Statement and Member Terms and Conditions, then click the ‘Join Velocity’ button. An email will be sent to the email address on the user’s account with instructions on how to activate their membership.

Children and Infant Passenger Types

How to: Children and infants^ can only be added to a booking as a Guest Traveller (cannot be saved as Traveller profiles) after an adult has been added to a booking. On the ‘Home’ page, click on ‘Add Guest Traveller’ and select either ‘Child’ or ‘Infant’ and complete the mandatory fields.

Are these really the highest priority aspects of the business portal that VA really needed to fix ? Not for me at least.

I haven't been on the site for a few weeks now, mainly because I can get better prices (with discount codes) on the main site. Oh and the fact that the main site (not that it is perfect) seems far easier to navigate and use. Anyone actually see the above as useful ?

They've released a few emails the last couple months with various updates similar to this. Some of the previous updates have been very useful/handy, some not so much. I like that they are pro-actively communicating the changes they are making. It provides visibility to their change management process and I think it's a positive thing.
