Off to Fiji this Friday ...... as part of the trip mid next week I'm flying from Nadi to Nausori Airport on an ATR.
The next leg of the journey is the one I'm impressed by
Nausori Airport to Bureta airstrip on Ovalau Island for business and back the following day

I just received a picture of the 'Northern Air' aircrafts three (3) class cabin , -

Row 1 = 'F'
Row 2 = 'J'
Row 3 = 'Y'

I'm wondering if anybody is missing the bench seat out of their early 1970's Holden ute ??

Is there a separate door for each row, or does Y & J just clamber over to get to their seat?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Their other 'MAIN' fleet aircraft doesn't look any better .........

This one may be 'trip report' worthy ....... does anyone have a spare Saint Christopher medallion I can borrow ?

It's actually four class since the photo was taken from row 4 (or row 1). Enjoy, not too many BN Islanders around these days locally.

Gee F / J / PE and Y .... outstanding.

Just not sure how to take the ' not to many BN Islanders around still ' comment but .........

Should be a hoot !

Northern Air Islander Fleet - Base Nausori Airport about 20~30 min north of downtown Suva
Two BN Islanders DQ SSS or DQ JJS
Seat : 8 PAX
Speed : 125kt
Weight : 2994kg – 6600lbs
They weigh PAX and bags .....love it ! .......... Flying with a couple of pretty beefy Fijians so that might not be a good thing !

I will be sure to knock out a trip report on this one being sure to cover off on the vitals ....... Recognition at check-in / Priority boarding / Wine selection / Did they get the salmon just right / Were priority tagged bags first at the 'carousel' ? yada yada

Strangely they don't appear to be part of either the Star or One World ...........Maybe their going the VA 'partnership route'

Really looking forward to your trip report Clivem, my dad is originally from Levuka and I have never been there. Just reading the posts in the lead up to your journey has almost inspired me to go. Am sure the trip report will get that inspiration over the line and turn it into a reality.
