I booked PER - SYD - HNL in November for our family of 5, all Classic Awards on the QF site. We leave on Monday, 18 January.

I just happened to have a look at the Jetstar booking page tonight, I've been on before to select our seats with no problems but tonight I was requested to pay $2.60 to go ahead with our booking. I can't view our seats or access the booking.

I've tried 3 different credit cards to pay and all have been declined. Any idea please why I'm being charged this please before I call the call centre?

Thanks.

This happened to me once years ago. I got onto the chatline at that time and spoke to a real person and she said that under the circumstances Jetstar would generously forego the payment.
Call centre advised me to call the JQ trade department on a 1300 number tomorrow...

How generous of them!

After calling the JQ trade department this department, they told me to call QF as I redeemed points on the QF website. So I've called QF and waiting on a callback.

get me outta here, I've just gone on chat with JQ and they too have told me to contact QF.

Waiting by the phone now!

Hang on, they're coming. Keeping checking on line to see if you have ticket numbers.

Thanks! QF called me back, "system glitch" apparently....thankyou Qantas, big sigh of relief. First time taking kids OS so I want to run as smooth as possible, well as smooth as taking kids overseas can be! Fully prepared not to be those parents who let their kids run wild.

Can get on to JQ website now and see our itinerary, phew. Thanks get me outta here.

I had a similar issue once but only at the airport checkin on a flight to Japan. Jetstar said I owed $540 and wanted that settled before I checked in. It ended up being a problem with their system.

Probably someone made a boo boo!
At least you didn't get in what I got, horrible, with QF no less.
Made a booking with QF for an Au dom flight, paid them with BPay on 31/12/15, late afternoon, maybe after they had all gone off on leave, few days later, got an email that my booking had been cancelled!
What, I thought, yep, booking cancelled, because QF didn't get my $.
But I paid, using 747600 BPay code, and have used the correct ref #.
Rang them twice, (((system glitch))) they said too, but still no refund in my case.
Had made another booking for the same one that was "cancelled".

Does you bank statement confirm the BPAY payment? If so, there should definitely be a refund processed.

Yes, my (transactional account) bank statement showed the bpay.
The 2nd girl I spoke to, (Au based-30 mins call wait), said to call back.
I will give it till Mon next week, 21 days after booking, and then ask for their email address for accounts.
The email said that I didn't make payment!
