Just curious, not here to brag.
In 2015 I finally turned my mind fully towards maximising earn opportunities. Ended up with 420,000 points, which I'm pretty stoked about!
According to my Qantas Points app, here's where they came from:
- 335k from credit cards (mostly sign-up bonuses)
- 25k from Epiqure wine (!)
- 20k from Aquire (bonus offers only - didn't fly enough to accrue any miles)
- 16k from actual flying (!) (though flew less than normal in 2015 and used lots of redemptions)
- 16k from Qantas Cash
- 7k from Woolworths shopping

Would be interested to hear how others fared :)

Not that many according to my summary page. ~90,000 QFF points.

Re: How many Qantas points did you earn in 2015?

Around 105K, about half of which was an ANZ CC offer.

Re: How many Qantas points did you earn in 2015?

I feel a bit embarrassed

Flights 87739
Cards & Banking 297503 all spend, no sign-ups
Shopping 5614
Cars & Hotels 2764
Q cash 1829
More 1056

Around 500,000 points in 2015. 450,000 of which came from credit cards (predominantly sign up offers - 9 in total).

credit card sign ups 140,000, flying 41,000, hotel and car rental 4,500, shopping at super markets 3,500, various other spend 10,000 ..total..approx 199,000.

my 2016 new year resolution is to maximise the use of my cards and spending to attain QF points..In the past years I have not been very diligent in chasing points.

Doctore1003 - what cards did you sign up to?!? Sounds like I need to learn from the master

Mine looks comparatively quite disappointing:
- 7.3k from flying
- 47.7k from credit cards
- 0.8k from shopping (woolies)
- 5.1k from food & wine (all dimmi bookings!)

250k this last year, 170k of which was CC. My wine is ordered through other members accounts these days.

What sort of things is the 'More' category? I have zero in that.

While it has proven to be quite frustrating  - Aquire is my friend

As I have upgrades confirmed I reimburse my QFF account with Aquire points, something like 40 this year. All of the Aquire transfers have been in rounded '000's so I'm guessing family transfers also go into the "more" box

Me neither, and I've now doubled my annual earn with a bit of effort. I'm using lots of points to upgrade to J on PER-MEL flights (new A330s) every few months to visit family, and my partner and I are flying round the world in J later this year. Totally worth the effort!

Re: How many Qantas points did you earn in 2015?

Approx 530k of which about 525k was from banking - 3 credit card sign ups & bank west QF transaction account. A big fat duck egg from actual flying.
