How early can you check in to a United Flight SYD-LAX

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering how early you can check in to the United SYD-LAX that is leaving at 1340 tomorrow afternoon?

I was hoping to get to the airport around 9/930 and head straight to the lounge to do some work before take off but don't' want to show up then and find there is only check 3 hours before the flight? (still traumatised by my last jetstar international flight, had to head back to domestic terminal and hang out in the domestic J Lounge for 2 hours)

Any advice on this would be great.

Not a great deal of UA experience here - they lounge is the NZ international.

If someone with such experience isn't around in time, maybe check out the UA forum on FT?

yeah looks like i'll be getting there aroudn 4 hours before flight departs so will aim to find out from the check in counter what time is the earliest you can actually check in, thanks for the link though
