How early can I check in at an Emirates counter

Hi ..flying EK409 on Monday morning 2.40am...we will be out at the airport early Sunday night about 9.00pm....if we check in on line will there be an emirates counter open do you know to drop off the bags, or will we need to wait till the counter opens at 11.40pm?

Hoping to use a lounge for a few hours

Hi DontGetMeStarted, Just wondering if you could give me a heads up on the lounge access for your above flight - was the emirates lounge open through to 2.40am? I am flying soon with Qantas but on a flight operated by Emirates and have just found out Qantas lounge is only open until 11pm so wondered if I can go to Emirates lounge instead if it is going to be open? Otherwise it'll be a long night at the airport!!

Hi, Yes the Emirates lounge was open and right the way through until departure which was actually delayed until nearly 4.00am...as mentioned before somewhere we could not check in much earlier than the 3 hours prior, but the food and drink etc was all good there.
