I've now encountered three different hotels who have repeatedly failed to replace the room service breakfast order card.

WTF! Breakfast has to be easy money for them but it seems they just don't want it. I want my $8 toast! :)

Yes, first world problems. :)

Housekeeping obviously don't get paid commission on breakfast sales.

It suggests housekeepers are not doing their job. Also, the supervisors or hotel managers are not checking thoroughly their housekeeping department. I would tell reception with expectation they would follow up.

I love the hotel laundry bags, the posh ones. I have a great collection of them good for putting you soiled laundry in to take home.

Any time I don't get a breakfast card it is off to the nearest restaurant and Breakfast there, which is more than likely cheaper than the extortionist prices most hotels charge for Breakfast, plus service delivery charge etc

I have recently started a nice collection of laundry bags that I use for dirty laundry while overseas.

Same here but the bags worth collecting and keeping is the cloth type.

It is the Exec lounge for me :)

If staying somewhere without breakfast it is the same cafe in [insert suburb] not far from the office. I have actually suggested to my team not to have breakfast in the hotel due to the excessive cost.

Unless breakfast is part of the deal I rarely eat in hotels. I am normally a coffee and toast man so prefer to use a local cafe. It's much more pleasant sitting outside watching the locals and only paying about $8-10 instead of $35 plus.

In summary...don't care about breakfast cards

Alone I rarely eat, but when I have Markis10jr we always do, some of the IHG hotels count him as a guest when doing priority privilege but kids eat free, result is normally a $14.50 breakfast bill.

Who can afford to eat breakfast in the hotels? Its the most outrageous mark-up going.... well thats apart from telephones/wifi/laundry etc. Rarely eat any meal in the hotel unless there is nothing nearby......
