Duffa, you might want to check the fine print on the 10% off Voucher. They usually include a phrase that sounds horribly like "Reward nights do not accrue when this voucher code is used"... :-(

yes and most of the codes that hotels.com give out exclude earning reward nights as does the one on cash rewards. Best voucher codes I have found from them are the bonus night ones
