Highest number of (different) airport transits in a day

I have an upcoming status run which sees 6 different airports in a day; including 5 in 9 hours (I had to ring AA reservations due to a website error - the lady thought I was mad). Got me thinking what's the AFF record?

7 airports in 1 day with 5 transits;
BNE-NTL
NTL-SYD
SYD-CBR
CBR-MEL
MEL-ADL
ADL-PER

MEL-MGB-ADL was meant to be in there as well but a 43 minute delay with Rex, and I pulled the pin.
5 transits with 7 total airports for the day; left Brisbane 6:00am arrived Perth at 10:00pm, not really a status run as such.
I think another AFFer did one extra flight segment so I don't think I hold the record.

The number of flight cancellations on my last us trip was insane!

My record is 5, IND-ORD-MCO-BDL-JFK though BDL was a diversion due to cross winds at JFK being too unsafe for the 737.

At least I was in F.

That's not bad.

Don't think I have had that many transits in a day. I have done 3 or 4 transits in a day many times.

agree mine is supported by SWUs, O fares instant confirmation into First. I'm not getting too far from NYC - Ewr-Clt-Rdu-Phl-Lga leaving 6am and arriving back around 3pm with a departure from JFK just after midnight.
