I am a recently retired earth science consultant. When I was working I travelled extensively around Australia and Asia. I was a QFF Platinum for a number of years and currently LTS heading for LTG with many FF points. Since retirement we have travelled to Europe, Asia and the USA and cruised in these regions.

Welcome to AFF! I'm the current resident retired rock-doctor and welcome a reinforcement of the cause - there are a number of (shudder) botanical types here such as @JohnM and other ratbags such as @juddles who give me a hard time, although I have been known to go on trips with JohnM around South America and try to educate him about the glories hiding beneath the wretched green stuff. :)

Nah, dirt is more the realm of the botanists.

For us, think diamonds, both by character and sampling. :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Welcome. With your experience hopefully you can share some of your flying tricks Enjoy

So we have a few "rock doctors" on board, the most optimist profession i have met! I just want them to find stuff to put though my furnace, but they always want to talk about the next big find coming................
