Hi All! Questions regarding redeeming points.
I m fairly new to HHonors, would appreciate some help here.
I noticed catagory one hotels is only costing 5000 points, however, when i go and search for hotels using redeeming points option it is showing between 20k-30k points required per night??

Not sure why????

There are no rooms available at the 5000 HHonors points rate and they are showing you the cost of more expensive rooms in points.

It becomes really annoying (not to mention ridiculously expensive in points) when you start talking higher cat. hotels. I was looking at the Bora Bora Conrad and the cheapies at 63000 or so are all but gone and the redemption for the rooms available was up in the many hundred thousand points bracket ... per night!

Forget it and pay cash and earn points.
