Just a heads up I was looking at one of my upcoming bookings (travel is September) which have AA segments LAX-SFO-LAX (booked as QF codeshare) and one flight has been cancelled (with new flight number, departing at exactly the same time....) and the other pushed back 20mins. This change has occurred in the last week or two (since I last looked at the booking).

May be worth having a look if you have connecting flights in LAX / SFO to check the times havent changed.

Havent had a look to see if there's anything "official" on aa.com

Yeah, I've had quite a few changes over the last week with 5 separate bookings.

One was fortuitous as it saved me from needing to pay a $150 re-route fee (due to a time change on a separate booking for another airline). Another changed a transit at DFW to 35 minutes - under the MCT.

Same here. Good change - saved me 40 minutes.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AA have also cancelled the 11am service from JFK to MIA, I now have to catch a 9am flight to connect to a later afternoon flight to Key West. Bonus is that its an international configuration 757, great first class seats and nice status earner to boot. Not a fan of the 'Eisenhower era' seats. Sounds like they are optimising their flight routes.

The changes benefited me well. I booked a multi city status run (12 segments) commencing in SFO, but the flight to LAS via LAX shared the same flight number. It's now a separate flight number at about the same time - 60 extra SCs ker Ching!

Several other changes to my itinerary about a month ago that involved my routing via DEN and MSY.

I have had some AA flights booke for Sept since late last year, and AA have changed or canceled every flight 4 times now, most recently last week. Worst resulted in a 4 hour difference. Nothing that effected us badly.

However CX canceled our HKG-JFK flight and put us on a midnight horror 6 hours later with a stop in Vancouver, resulting in getting in a day later. Not a fun proposition with a 3 year old. Anyway sorted it for better flight that now leaves earlier

What is the MCT at DFW? I made a booking last night in aa.com that had only 45min - is that the cut off?
